Photograph article dated March 17, 1961 reads, "Winning first places was most important last night as the Notre Dame Knights squeaked to a track and field victory over Serra in a Catholic League meet at Notre Dame. Paul Dali, left, won the high and low hurdles and Mike Mackin set a new school record in winning the 880-yard run."
