D834 -Committee on Foreign Relations reporting out H. Con. Res. 285 to allow the showing of he JFK film in the U.S. with additional provisions relating to John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Aug. 25, 1965 - p. D840 - Mention of the JFK film under "Chamber Action, Bills Reported." -- p. 20851 - "Showing in the United States of USIA Film 'John F. Kennedy-Years of Lightning, Day ofDrurns' "Report out ofa Committee (S. Rep!. No. 647)." Aug. 26, 1965 - pp. 21255-56 - "Showing in the United States of U.S. Information Agency film 'John F. Kennedy-Years of Lightning, Day of Drums' "with remarks by Senators McGovern, Mansfield, and Pell. Sept. 21 , 1965 - p. D947-Notice that the Committee on Foreign Affairs and ordered to report favorably to the House S.J. Res. 106 to allow the showing in the U.S. of the USIA film on JFK. Oct. 1, 1965 - p. D986 -Notice on Oct. 5th the House would act on S.J. Res. 106 (the USIA film on JFK). Oct. 5, 1965 -pp. 25023-26 - "USIA Film John F. Kennedy-Years of Lightning, Day of Drums. ' " with remarks by Congressmen Zablocki, Adair, Gross, Derwinski, Morgan, and Fulton. Oct. 6, 1965 - p. D997 - Notice of the House program for Oct. 7th which would vote on S.J. Res. 106 regarding the showing in the U.S. of the USIA's film Years afLighting. Oct. 7, 1965 - p. 25328 - Passage of S.J. Res. 106 by the House. - p. DIOOO - Notice under "Chamber Action" that th~ Ho~e by voice vote passed SJ. Res. 106, and, thereby, cleared the legIslatIOn for the President to sign into law. I.
