In a photo commissioned by Life Magazine, twelve magazine issues from April 1955 are arranged in a display. The magazines include Life, The Saturday Evening Post, Look, Collier's, Time, The New Yorker, U.S. News & World Report, TV Guide, Newsweek, Tempo, and People Today. Featured in the center is the April 11, 1955, issue of Sports Illustrated on which New York Giants Willie Mays, actress Loraine Day Durocher, and Giants manager Leo Durocher grace the cover.
