Description
Shown is a postcard promoting the twelfth annual "Singing Christmas Tree" concert held at Memorial Auditorium on Sixteenth and J streets in downtown Sacramento, from December 18-20, 1968. The photograph on the front of the postcard shows a church choir of 180 members standing in rows around and on a more than 30-foot-tall Christmas tree made of wood and steel. The back of the postcard also boasts a 30-piece orchestra along with "dramatic sound and lighting." The event was hosted by the Assemblies of God church.
