Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph caption dated November 7, 1947 reads, "With Amber and her puppies; dogs can be termed minors, too, the law says, as public nuisance charges dismissed." It was reported that the neighbors of Mr. & Mrs. Garfield complained that Hungarian Puli Amber and her three pups, Fluff, Stuff, and Muff, barked day and night, and that having four dogs on the property violated zoning laws. It was determined that the puppies are not considered dogs because they are under 4 months old. Mrs. Garfield agreed to find homes for the puppies.
