Description
Photograph caption dated April 28, 1962 reads, "High seas adventure will be in store for members and guests of the Valley Committee of the California Institute for Cancer Research when they set sail May 6 on the S. S. Princess for an evening of fun to benefit cancer research at UCLA Medical Center. Point of embarkation is the Port O' Call in San Pedro with anchors aweigh at six bells for cocktails, buffet supper and dancing aboard ship. Getting into the spirit ahead of time are Mmes. Paul Champion, left, of Van Nuys; William O'Hearn of Sherman Oaks and F. D. Riley of North Hollywood."
