View depicts the near-total destruction of Star Trucking Co., located at 662 S. Mateo Street, the warehouse that was hit by a huge chemical blast. The explosion was caused by a load of corrosive chemicals in the warehouse. Windows and glass shattered in dozens of buildings within several blocks radius of the actual blast. Photograph dated August 18, 1974.
