Description
Detailed, close-up view of the end-piece of a silver neck ring or necklace (xauv). The motif appears to be either fish and fish scales (commonly depicted in HMong jewelry for neck rings) or snakes and snakeskin (a common motif for the ends of bracelets). Typed label affixed to the mat board beneath the photograph reads, "Detail of end-piece of silver neck ring. / - Boua Yia Vang, Sacramento / (Npuas Yias Vaj)."
