This is a picture book of many of the beautiful and interesting places in California, from the coast to Southern California, to the Central Valley. It is a type of advertisement for California and the railroad.
This book shows how California was advertised to people throughout the country. Also, the best way to get to California, and the places that these pictures advertised was by the railroad.
Good condition, brittle paper. Illustrations are mounted.
