Bust length portrait in uniform.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1895, came to Sacramento in 1904. Attended Harkness Grammar School, high school. Worked in parcel delivery business. Belonged to the National Home Guard, serving in the Mexican-American Border during conflict. In 1918, joined Company B 363rd Infantry, sent to France, killed in 1918.
