..."Whereas, in December of 1994 in San Jose, California, Rod's wife, Mary Ann; their children, Mary Margaret and Rod, Jr.; Rod's fellow community leaders, colleagues, friends, and staff are joining together to celebrate with and to honor Supervisor Diridon upon his retirement following two prosperous decades of service as a Member of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors; Be it therefore resolved, that we, Congressman Don Edwards, Congressman Norman Y. Mineta, and Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo, on behalf of our colleagues in the United States House of Representatives, commend and congratulate the Honorable Rod Diridon for his vision, leadership, and dedication to the community of Santa Clara County and to the future of our nation."
