A makeshift shrine was erected with roses, candy and photos of the 'I Love Lucy' star." The shrine is at 6400 Hollywood Boulevard.; Second photograph caption dated May 2, 1989 reads "A scroll for Lucy extends along the Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk near her star on the Walk of Fame, carrying messages of sorrow from fans of the late Lucille Ball.
