Description
The staff of Chinchew [Quanzhou] Girls' School, Summer, 1907. Miss Duncan (Principal) for once has allowed herself to be taken. On her left is the head teacher who is leaving, next to her the matron, & next the second teacher, the third is on Miss Duncan's right. Behind are the fourth teacher and the sixth class who act as pupil teachers. The fourth teacher is the tall girl behind Miss Duncan. The girl behind the second teacher has just recovered from plague.
