Little known fact: Good dry wines were produced in the foothills around Pasadena and Glendale, and the Lamanda Park area developed a fine reputation for red table wine. View of the entrance for Sierra Madre Vintage Co., which is a winery located in Lamanda Park. The building is Spanish-style and has a wooden main door, small balcony, and shuttered windows. Five barrels are stacked along the left of the building, and a railcar and tracks are seen on the side.
