Description
San Jose's Japanese Buddhist Temple dates only to 1937, but it belongs in this publication because of its architecture and its representation of the community's large Japanese population. The temple enhances a site at North 5th Street. Description taken from the book "San Jose - An inventory of its Historical and Architectural Heritage by San Jose Historic Landmarks Commission" (1975)
