Photograph caption dated December 12, 1960 reads, "Route 6 postman John H. Houssels, 6432 Jamieson Ave., Reseda, who delivers mail in his own neighborhood, receives a Christmas present from his neighbors. The neighbors, including Mrs. Les Knowles, 6442 Zelzah Ave., foreground, make the presentation in front of the Murray McLean residence, 6446 Zelzah. This is the third time the neighborhood has joined together to give a holiday gift to its mailman."
