Photograph included in the Exhibit: L.A. Landmarks - Lost and Almost Lost.
Located at 20600 Ventura Boulevard, the 2865-seat Valley Music Theater opened in 1964 and was demolished in 2007.
Photograph caption dated June 14, 1965 reads, "Valley teen-agers Carol Keropian, 15, Sherman Oaks, left, and Patti El Kouri, 15, Encino, discuss forthcoming "Summer A Go-Go" show with rock 'n roll singers Desi Arnaz, center; Billy Hinche, and Dino Martin, right. Dino, Desi and Billy will be one of many acts featured in the June 28 show at Valley Music Theater."
