Photograph caption dated June 30, 1958 reads "Festive carnival atmosphere prevails at San Fernando Valley Youth Foundation's 'Land Rush Festival.' Honory deeds to one foot square parcels of Youth Center ground were sold to Valley residents during event as an investment in area's youth. More than 2,500 parcels were sold."
