In the mid-1960s, Glen-Aire Country Club became the campus of the Buckley School. Photograph article dated May 27, 1957 reads, "James C. Corman, second from left, is congratulated by Everett G. Burkhalter, councilman, third from left, at testimonial dinner held in his honor at Glen-Aire Country Club in Sherman Oaks. The Rev. Rollo E. Dunham, extreme left, and Fred Plugge, extreme right, look on. Dinner was final event in Corman's aid for city council, 7th District post which will be at stake in tomorrow's election."
