Description
David Aprato's father, Luigi Aprato, came to Los Angeles in 1910. Luigi met his wife at the boarding house he was staying in after immigrating, where she waited tables. They were both from Italy, and got married on November 11, 1911 in Los Angeles. David's father built a house in Chavez Ravine and in 1923 built others on Granada St and Cypress Park, of which they ended up selling in 1970. Group photo of women possibly taken at a party held at the Aprato family home on Isabel Street, Cypress Park, Los Angeles. The party was to celebrate Louis Aprato's "confirmation".
