Description
Photograph of Mission San Juan de Agueyo from the right front, San Antonio, Texas, ca.1898. At center, a bell tower stands at the right corner of the mission church. Atop the bell tower, a simple cross can be seen. A wooden post and wire fence surround the front entrance of the church. Additional fencing can be seen toward the back of the church at right. Two rectangular windows flank the central entryway. Above the arched doorway, a decorative carving can be seen along the frontal facade. Crumbling walls can be seen along the right side of the church. This was the second mission in San Antonio.
