Description
This photograph of the pristine interior of the California State Capitol Governor's Office was taken in 1942 when Levy Olson was governor. The Governor's office was moved to the Capitol annex in 1951, when this room was then occupied by the Secretary of State. Worth noting in the photograph is a painting of Hiram Johnson, who was California governor from 1911 to 1917.
