Photograph caption dated April 11, 1941 reads, "Election of Justin W. Dart of Chicago as a member of United Airlines Board of DIrectors was announced, today, by W. A. Patterson, president. A private pilot and aviation enthusiast Dart is the general manager of the Walgreen coast-to-coast chain of drug stores. A native of Evanston, Illinois, he graduated from Northwestern University in 1929. His career with the Walgreen organization which started at that time resembled a Horatio Alger character.
