Photograph caption dated December 16, 1957 reads "Santa peers through window to check up on how children are behaving in life-size scene made by PTA mothers of Stagg Street School and displayed at school during pre-Christmas activities. There isn't much time now for youngsters to remember they 'better not pout...better not cry...Santa Claus is coming to town.'" Stagg Street Elementary School is in Van Nuys.
