Photo--black and white: Aerial view photo taken circa 1940s of the O. A. Hallberg Orchards in Graton / Green Valley area along Gravenstein Highway north. Highway 116 in bottom right corner and the Atascadero Creek--with line of trees on banks seen in the mid-background. Peachland Road lower left corner. Hallberg owned about 1000 acres of apple orchards. In 1939 Oscar Hallberg started to can applesauce and bought the Green Valley Cannery in Graton which became the Hallberg plant.
