Description
On reverse: Akron, Ohio -- Member of crew of U.S.S. Macon, new navy airship, checks one of ship's many gasoline tanks prior to a test flight from Goodyear-Zeppelin dock here. Picture shows how starboard lateral gangway on world's largest airship appears. Narrow catwalk extends alongside of ship inside hull, allowing crew easy access to engine rooms, gasoline and ballast tanks. Bottom of gas cell at top of picture.
