Photograph article dated July 19, 1963 partially reads, "The California sprint championships for racing bicycles will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Encino Velodrome, Louise Ave. and Oxnard St. Featured in the races will be many former United States Olympic and Pan-American Games team members, as well as a crop of young racers hoping to win spots in the team that will be chosn next year to enter the 1964 Olympics at Tokyo." Photograph caption reads, "Tim Mountford shows bike racing form - North Hollywood racer is a threat."
