Photograph caption dated October 19, 1957 reads, "R. W. Denaple, president of the North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, presents plaque to actor Cornel Wilde honoring him for his entertainment contributions. Looking on are Wilde's wife, Jean Wallace, and Len Boyd, Valley Times drama editor. Presentation was made at premiere of "The Devil's Hairpin," the first premiere in history to be held in a drive-in theater - the Victory Drive-In in the Valley."
