Victor Edwin French was born on December 4, 1934. He is best known for his appearances on Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven, both shows starring his good friend, Michael Landon. French studied acting at Los Angeles Valley College before starting his career in television and film as actor and director. He died on June 15, 1989. Photograph caption dated June 27, 1957 reads "'Oscars' were awarded Valley College actors at the annual spring banquet held recently. Winners are, from left, seated, Carol Barnett, Virginia Puzzo and Renee Haddad. Standing are Ed French, LeRoy Lenert and Pat O'Connor. Valley Director Walter T. Coultas made presentations." Los Angeles Valley College is in Van Nuys.
