Description
"Cette maison de bois de sapin de Norvège, fut d'abord envoyé, démontée, à Madagascar et construite à Ambohibe vers 1897, elle fut ensuite transportée et reconstruite à Morombe en 1924" ("This house is built with wooden materials from Norway, they were first sent in different parts to Madagascar and built in Ambohibe ca.1897, they were then transported and rebuilt in Morombe in 1924"). -- The mission station built with wooden material was demolished by a cyclone in 1942, but was rebuilt in concrete. The cyclone was during the war while the Lindelands lived in Morombe.
