Description
Dress in the style of the Sgaw Karen people in Thailand. The dress is made of undyed cotton, and consists of four separate panels sewn together. Thin rows of pink, blue, and teal string are woven into the vertical sides of each panel. Horizontal stripes of pink, yellow, and blue cotton is woven into the middle of the dress; stripes of pink, purple, green, yellow are woven at the hem. The pink, blue, yellow, and green cotton thread from the woven designs is left long to form tassels. Original title from SEACRC: Karen White Dress #3
