View of Stony Gorge Dam with the resevoir at fifty percent capacity. Published: Orland Project-Inventory Report 1951. Donor/Source: Orland Unit Water Users Assn. Cross File: Orland Irrigation Project. OP-822-R2 Stony Gorge Dam with the reservoir at about 50% capacity and the north 42' needle valve releasing stored water. Built and completed in 1928, this structure is now (1951) in excellent condition following overhauling, cleaning, and painting outlet tubes, repairing 42' needle valves, replacing the domestic water service supplemented with a filter and chlorinator. hm
