Description
Children receive instructions on roller blade safety in the parking lot of McCambridge Park. Burbank’s bicycle safety program was started in 1951 as a joint project of the Burbank and Magnolia Optimists Clubs, the Burbank Police Department, and the Burbank PTA. The program involved a series of riding tests and bike inspections, as well as strict police enforcement of bicycle traffic rules.
