Image of beach houses along the boardwalk, with Cafe Nat Goodwin on Crystal Pier and Ocean Park Pier (with roller coasters) in the distance, in Santa Monica, California. A sign for "Kensington Terrace, Residents Only ..." visible along road at left.
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). Title devised by cataloger; date devised by cataloger based on the history of the Bristol Pier, which was purchased by actor Nat Goodwin in 1919 and renamed the Crystal Pier, and the general appearance of the area in the photograph.
