The Carnegie Library in the middle of the park is obscured by trees. The dirt parking lot, left, has a ticket booth, two bearded fan palms, and a sign that reads "Auto Park, 25 cents". The Virginia Garage next to the parking lot has a bay door open and a large Coca Cola sign on its side. The Long Beach city hall, center and behind Lincoln Park, with its four cupolas faces the park. The Speedene Gasoline station, right, is on the corner of Ocean, across from the park. Oil derricks on the horizon look like matchsticks. Other buildings surrounding the park are banks, apartment houses, hotels, department stores and office buildings.
