Description
Photograph of a view of Laguna Beach surf and the Arch Rocks, ca.1885. A powerful wave is breaking on the rocks near the shore, dissipating into bubbly white foam, which continues its way towards the rocks, seeping into the crevices between them. Across the cove created by rock outcroppings, a house can be seen perched on a rocky cliff, with another structure and a copse of trees behind it, further inland. In the distance, a large mountain tapers down into a prominent point on the coast.
