Description
Photograph of Moonscapes I: On the tail of the comet, 1978, a public mural, acrylic on wood, by Los Dos Streetscapers (Wayne Healy and David Botello) assisted by Paul Botello and George Yepes, painted on the side of a Department of Motor Vehicles building (11400 West Washington Boulevard at Purdue Avenue) in Culver City, Los Angeles County. The mural depicts astronauts, lunar vehicles, and other apparati on the surface of the moon. The mural was sponsored by the California Arts Council and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
