Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of the old Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana, ca.1900. Built from1900 to 1901 in the Richardsonian Romanesque architectural style, the courthouse is made of brick, with a steeply slanted roof and a metal cupola, which was removed following the 1933 earthquake. The grounds around the courthouse are nicely landscaped, with a lawn and rows of trees and plants separating the courthouse grounds from the street. There are several people on the walkway and stairway that lead up to the arched doorways at the front of the building.
