Description
Interior views of Art Deco style Pantages Theatre in Hollywood; only four photographs are not exact duplicates of photographs located in folders, 473, 499, 501, 502, 503 and 505. Mott Merge no. 653 refers to Pantages Production Corporation. Designed in 1929 by B. Marcus Priteca, architect; Anthony Heinsbergen interior decorator. 1992-2356 (653-71) theatre stage and futuristic curtain from center seating -- 1992-2357 (653-72) stage with velvet curtain from left of center seating -- 1992-2358 (653-74) stage with birds and clouds curtain, orchestra pit below -- 1992-2359 (653-77) auditorium chandelier and frieze detail above stage -- 1992-2360 (653-78) Art Deco console with triangular mirror above.
