Description: Dead amid a heavy layer of oil covering what normally would be a white sand beach, this waterfowl is victim of the massive oil spill caused by the collision (1/18) of two oil tankers under the Golden Gate Bridge. Conservationists have expressed fears for marine wildlife in San Francisco Bay because of the huge amount of oil leaked into the Bay.
