Description
Shown is part of the crowd attending the hearing being conducted by Mayor Norris Poulson and his investigation into the alleged rubbish collection racketeering. The hearing is taking place in the mayor's hearing room in City Hall. The crowd heard testimony that threats have been made against persons who tried to dump their own rubbish. This was described as "a customary threat." Photo dated: June 20, 1955.
