Payne, president of the Valley Used Car Managers Association, stated vom Cleff received the token because of the excellence of his overall sales record and ethical merchandising practices at Frank Millard Sport Cars. Irv Schaffner, right, Harry Maher Pontiac, was elected to receive the Valley Times Award at the next monthly meeting. Art Taraldsen, president of the Los Angeles Used Cars Managers Association, was guest speaker at the large meeting held at The Tail 'O [sic] the Cock."
