Description
"Masai-Frauen mit weißbemaltem Gesicht" ("Masai women with white painted faces"). Several people (apparently Maasai women) walking on a path. Some of them carrying loads on their heads and holding other objects in their hands. In the front one woman with a white painted face. Trees and shrubs at the roadside. In the background a plain meadow.

Johannes Vogt was bishop of the Moravian Church and has visited Tanganyika in the years 1938 and 1939.
