The label shows two men in Tyrolean outfits toasting each other with the words, "this is our Battlefield" Long Live Alpine. John Greeott, Santa Rosa, Cal. White, gold, blue and green label for Alpine Winery, established in Santa Rosa, Calif. shortly after the turn of the 20th century by John Greeott, an immigrant who came to Sonoma County from Italy in 1899.
