Photograph caption dated April 21, 1965 reads, "All attention is focused on the storm drain at Tyrone and Magnolia, Van Nuys, where police, firemen, representatives of the Water and Power Company and members of the Easter vacation set waited for the return of several youngsters who reportedly entered the drain. The youths turned up at the Los Angeles River exit, having traveled the underground tunnel to the Riverside Drive location."
