Description
View of a section of the machinery used in the blanching of almonds. The machine in the corner is the blanching machine. The almonds are first properly soaked in the tanks to the right. Only the ends of these tanks are showing in this photograph. They are then carried through pipes to the blanching machine that removes the pellicles by corrugated rubber rollers. They are than carried to the cooking apparatus.
