Photograph article dated August 28, 1963 partially reads, "There were dozens of signs - 'Welcome Home Champs!' and 'We're Proud of You World Champions' - as a large and noisy crowd waited for the big jet airliner's doors to open. When they finally swung out, it wasn't Walter O'Malley's Dodgers or the Yankees who stepped out to meet the public at International Airport. Instead, 14 small boys stepped out, blinking." Photograph caption reads, "Smiling faces tell the tale - it's good to be home. Granada Hills world Little League champions at airport." See image 00156738 for additional photo in this series.
