Description: Thanksgiving was the second holiday of the week for the Spars--women's reserve of the Coast Guard. They celebrated their first birthday Tuesday and on November 25, 1943, gathered around this festive table, they enjoyed another celebration. Left to right are Edith Faircloth, Helen Ambler, Alberta Swone, Betty Ayer, Chris Jacobsen, Phyllis Petty, June Barnes.
