Description
Photograph of the airship "Patrie" on a French postcard, ca.1907. A large crowd assembles around the airship, which is seen at an angle from its front end. A series of cables keeps the aircraft strapped to the ground. A few people on board the craft bend and fix their belongings, and one makes to leave the craft from a ladder on the left. To the left of the craft is a small structure labeled "B". The craft has the word "Patrie" painted on its front in bold letters. In the distance, a few trees can be seen, and a mountainous area can be vaguely made out.
