Photograph article dated October 19, 1961 partially reads, "Construction started on the above-ground phase of the first building of the $20 million, high-rise Panorama Towers project at Van Nuys boulevard and Titus avenue, Panorama City. The first building will rise 13 stories and will contain some 200,000 square feet of office space. Later, plans call for construction of another 13-story structure and a 20-story office facility... Included among those participating in the cement-pouring ceremony were: County Supervisor Warren M. Dorn, Councilman Ernani Bernardi, Welton Becket, architect on the project; William Brownyard, developer, and Henry C. Beck, Jr., contractor."
